The current onboarding guide supersedes earlier chat component and token-provider instructions. Follow the module loader and ticket bootstrap.
Changelog
Changes to the developer-facing surface. The contract is versioned; an SDK release never breaks an existing chunk allowlist without a major bump.
v1.1.0 — 2026-09-26
The same features that shipped on the harness for the 2026-09-26 release are now documented in this repository. No contract change; no SDK upgrade required. The new pages describe what the user sees on the other side of every door.
- End-user experience page — end-user-experience.html covers the eight surfaces customers ask about most: answer sources, the receipts line, support tickets, family members, memory consent toggles, the safety behaviour and crisis-helpline card, the D1–D60 chart types, and the embed mint body.
- Receipts line on the turn stream. The
terminal
finishevent carries the settled charge the widget already renders, and the docs now state the “Stopped · charged $X” behaviour and what the end user does not see. - End-user support tickets — the host
“Help” entry point that uses
POST /api/v1/support/tickets; tickets route to the tenant-configured helpdesk or fall back to the built-in queue. - Family members and memory consent toggles are now also referenced from the end-user experience page; the field-level and consent details stay on Profile data.
- Crisis helpline card with the India
Tele-MANAS line (
14416; toll-free1-800-891-4416, free 24×7 in English and 20 Indian languages), the US988line, and the Befrienders Worldwide directory for UK / AU / other English locales. The voice rendering never carries the phone number and the full text + card arrives as a follow-up. - D1 plus 15 varga chart types —
D1, D2, D3, D4, D7, D9, D10, D12, D16, D20, D24, D27, D30,
D40, D45 and D60 — rendered as sanitised
data-vedika-artifactchunks; the kit never names the upstream provider. - Embed mint body — the
{ token, expiresAt }shape and per-tenant SDK config that the widget and every embed package (WordPress / Shopify / Wix / Webflow / Squarespace / Framer) share; the existing Chat widget page covers the contract end-to-end. - Sidebars updated across the developer docs to add a “Product surface” group linking to the new page.
v1.0.0 — initial release
- Agent SDK for JavaScript (
@vedika-io/agent-sdk-js). The Python client (vedika-agent-sdk) is not yet published to PyPI. - Chat widget (
<vedika-chat>) with token mint contract. - WordPress, Shopify, and Wix embed bundles.
- Remote MCP server with the consolidated tool catalog (15 tools).
- Chat Completions-compatible and Messages-compatible doors.
- Public model ids:
vedika-standard,vedika-standard-2.5,vedika-swift,vedika-eco.
Contract versioning
The wire spec carries a version field at the top of every
generated JSON file under data/. Backwards-incompatible
changes bump the major; backwards-compatible additions bump the minor.
How upgrades ship
- A new SDK release lands with a release note on this page.
- The harness server advertises the new contract version in
x-vedika-contract-versionon every streaming response. - SDKs refuse to parse a stream when the server version is newer than the SDK supports.
