Vedika vs harness
The Vedika API gives your software astrology and Vastu answers. The harness is a chat layer built on that API, so your own users can talk to Vedika inside your app.
The short version
A web API. Your software sends a request, such as a birth chart or a match between two people, and gets the result back. You design every screen and decide how answers look.
You get a key from your own account and start calling it.
A ready-made chat and agent layer for your product. Your end users chat with Vedika inside your own app or website, and your team gets an admin console to run it. The answers come from the Vedika API.
We set it up with you, under an agreement.
In plain words: the API is the engine. The harness is a finished chat window and admin console built on that engine.
Side by side
| Vedika API | Vedika harness | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | A web API for astrology and Vastu calculations and AI answers. | A chat and agent layer that uses the API. It comes with an SDK, a chat widget, platform embeds and an admin console. |
| What you build | Your own screens and your own logic. | You place the chat in your site or app and connect your own sign-in. You do not build the chat itself. |
| What your users see | Whatever your product shows. Vedika stays behind your server. | A chat inside your product. |
| How you get started | Create an account and a key yourself. See the docs. | Talk to us first. After a signed order form we invite your team to a workspace. See the enterprise flow. |
| Where keys live | A server key on your backend. | The same. The server key stays on your backend, and the browser only receives a single-use ticket. |
| Who signs your users in | You decide. | You do. Your users keep signing in to your own app. |
| Price | The public price list on the pricing page. | Set in your order form. |
| Suits | A team that wants raw results inside its own screens. | A product team that wants chat for its end users without building chat. |
Choosing
You do not have to decide once and for all. Start with the API, and talk to us when you want chat. The harness is built on the API, so nothing you learn there is wasted.
Plainly
Start at the developer docs.
Tell us what you are building. We will tell you which one fits, and reply by email.
