Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and XALEN Technology Private Limited, a company incorporated in India with its registered office in Pune, Maharashtra ("Vedika", "we", "us"). They cover the Vedika API, SDKs, MCP server, dashboard, Playground and every integration we publish (together, "the Service").

They have three parts. Part A applies to everyone. Part B, the Commercial Terms, applies when you use the Service for a business or to build a product, which includes any use of an API key in an app, website or system. Part C, the Consumer Terms, applies when you use the Service only for your own personal purposes. If you use an API key for anything other than personal testing, Part B applies.

Our Usage Policy and Privacy Policy are part of these Terms. A signed order form with us takes priority over these Terms where the two differ.

You accept these Terms when you create an account or tick the box that asks you to. If you accept for a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind it, and "you" means that company.

You must be at least 18 years old. We ask for your date of birth at signup and keep only whether you are 18 or older. You must give accurate details, keep them up to date, and not use the Service where the law forbids you to.

Keep your password and API keys secret. You are responsible for everything done with your account and keys. Tell us at once at [email protected] if you think someone else has used them. We may revoke a key that has been exposed or misused.

Vedika calculates astrological data from birth details and writes interpretations of it with AI. Calculations follow published astronomical methods; interpretations are generated text and can be wrong, incomplete or inconsistent.

Astrology is not science and does not predict events with certainty. Nothing from the Service is medical, financial, legal, insurance, employment or other professional advice. Do not rely on it for decisions of that kind without a qualified professional; the Usage Policy sets the rules for these uses.

You must follow the Usage Policy. It sets standards for everyone, extra requirements for high-risk uses, rules for consumer apps built on Vedika, and how we enforce them.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it. Birth details you send are used to provide the Service to you.

We own the Service, including its software, models, documentation and brand. These Terms give you the rights set out in Part B or Part C, and nothing more. You keep ownership of what you send us.

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free unless a signed order form says otherwise. We may change, add or remove features. If a change takes away something you pay for, we will tell you in advance where we can.

You may close your account at any time from the dashboard or by writing to support. We may warn, restrict, suspend or close an account as described in section 5 of the Usage Policy, including for unpaid fees or a breach of these Terms. You can appeal any such decision at [email protected].

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is". We do not promise any particular result from using it, or that its output is accurate or fit for a particular purpose.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for all claims about the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in that period and USD 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We publish changes on this page with a new effective date and a changelog entry. For material changes we also ask you to accept the new version in the dashboard, and we record which version you accepted. If you do not accept, you may close your account.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes about them, except where consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

You may use the Service to build and run your own products. You are responsible for your products, your users, the terms you offer them, and the notices the Usage Policy requires in consumer apps. You must not resell raw API access or let others use your keys outside your products.

You own the inputs you send. Subject to these Terms and payment, you may use, show and adapt the outputs in your products. Outputs are generated and may be similar for similar inputs, so you do not get exclusive rights in them. You must have the right to send us any birth details or other personal data you send.

Plans, prices, credits and limits are as shown on our pricing page and in your dashboard when you buy. Fees are charged in advance. Customers in India pay GST on top of the price; other taxes apply as the law requires. Unpaid fees may lead to restriction under A9.

Each of us will keep the other's non-public business information confidential and use it only for this agreement, except where the law requires disclosure.

You will defend and compensate us against claims by others that arise from your products, your users, or your breach of these Terms or the Usage Policy.

If you use Vedika only for yourself, you may use the dashboard, the Playground and our tools for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Building a product or serving other people moves you to Part B.

Readings are AI-generated astrology for reflection and entertainment. They are not predictions you can rely on, and they are not professional advice. Please do not make health, money, legal or other important decisions on the strength of a reading.

Paid features cost what the dashboard shows when you buy. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under the consumer protection laws that apply to you.
