Grounding & Citations

Why AI Query answers are reproducible: every reading is grounded in a real computed chart.

Vedika does not free-associate. Each reading is produced from a deterministically computed birth chart and stays consistent with it — the same inputs yield the same chart, and the answer references that chart's real positions.

#The chart is the citation

The computed chart is returned as birthChart on every response. It is the ground truth the reading draws on: houses, planetary positions, and the yogas or periods the answer refers to. You can display it alongside the reading so users — and your own QA — can check the answer against the math.

#Cross-turn consistency

In a multi-turn conversation the engine reconciles facts the user states (“I am already married”) against the chart, so later answers do not contradict earlier ones. See Multi-turn.

#What grounding means here

Note
Grounding is to the computed chart, not to external web sources. Vedika cites the astrological basis (the chart and the classical technique applied), which is what makes readings reproducible and auditable. Readings are guidance, not professional advice — see Policies.
