SDKs (Python / Node)
Official Python and Node.js clients, plus an MCP server on Business and Enterprise plans.
Official clients for Python and Node.js wrap the REST API so you don't hand-roll HTTP calls. Both read your key from the environment and call the same /api/v1/astrology/query endpoint documented in AI Query.
#Install
pip install vedika-sdknpm install @vedika-io/sdkNote
The examples below show the general shape — constructor and method names follow each SDK's own README, which is the source of truth for its exact surface.
#Python
import os
from vedika import Vedika
client = Vedika(api_key=os.environ["VEDIKA_KEY"])
response = client.query(
question="Which career field suits me best?",
birth_details={
"datetime": "1990-05-15T10:30:00",
"latitude": 28.6139,
"longitude": 77.2090,
"timezone": "Asia/Kolkata",
},
)
print(response.answer)#Node.js
import { Vedika } from '@vedika-io/sdk';
const client = new Vedika({ apiKey: process.env.VEDIKA_KEY });
const response = await client.query({
question: "Which career field suits me best?",
birthDetails: {
datetime: "1990-05-15T10:30:00",
latitude: 28.6139,
longitude: 77.2090,
timezone: "Asia/Kolkata",
},
});
console.log(response.answer);#MCP server & Postman
An MCP server is available on Business Business+ and Enterprise Enterprise plans — see /mcp for setup. A Postman collection covering the full API is linked from the site footer.
