The amount is a credit in US dollars. You choose a tier when you apply. We can approve a lower tier than the one you ask for, never a higher one, and no company can receive more than USD 10,000.

If approved, the credits are added to the Vedika wallet of the account email you gave. They stay valid for 12 months.
If DPIIT recognition was pending, send the number from your private status page within 90 days.
DPIIT recognition can take weeks, and you should not have to wait for it. Apply for Launch the day you file, choose "I have applied" in step 4, and we start the review straight away.
When you submit, we email you a private status link. The 90 days run from that day. When the recognition comes through, you add the number and date on that page. The terms set out what happens if it does not arrive.
You can apply first, but we cannot approve until the account exists. Credits are added to the wallet of the Vedika account whose email you give in step 2 of the application. If you do not have an account yet, create one at vedika.io/signup with that email.
Yes, with a new application and new evidence, for example a funding round announced after you first applied. We treat it as its own application. Tiers do not stack and each company gets one award, so we take credits you already received into account.
Apply for Launch anyway. In step 4 choose "I have applied and am waiting". You then have 90 days from the day you submit to send the DPIIT number and recognition date from your private status page. If it does not arrive in time, we can withhold or revoke the credits.
Yes. Credits are valid for 12 months from the day we grant them. What is left after that lapses. There is no rollover and no refund.
Any Vedika API usage billed to your wallet: birth charts, dasha periods, panchang, kundali matching, horoscopes, natural-language questions, PDF reports, Vastu and numerology. Credits pay for Vedika usage and nothing else.
No. It is a USD credit on your Vedika wallet. It has no cash value, cannot be withdrawn or refunded, and cannot be transferred to another account or company. Usage beyond the credit is billed at Vedika list prices.
Only if you ask us to. At the end of the application there is an optional box that lets us list your company name and logo as a Vedika for Startups member. It is off by default and you can withdraw it any time.
You give us a public link: an announcement, a news article, a Crunchbase page or a regulatory filing. A pitch deck does not count. We check it against public sources and, where we need to, we write to the investor you name. For DPIIT we check the recognition number against DPIIT records.
We review applications within 5 business days. If we need more, we email the work address on your application and the review waits for your reply. You can follow progress on the private status page we send you when you submit.
Yes, for Scale and Funded. Launch is for Indian companies recognised by DPIIT. Companies incorporated elsewhere give their local registration number in place of a CIN or LLPIN.
No. Credits are for your own use of the Vedika API. You may not resell raw API access, share API keys outside your company, or give the credits to customers. The program terms spell this out.
